Here is a photo of my younger son silhouetted against the brilliant sky of the sun setting into the Pacific off Tamarindo. You can see why they sometimes refer to the area around Tamarindo as Costa Rica's "Gold Coast."
I did not do anything to enhance the colors of the sunset. This photo is exactly how the camera captured the scene, using the camera's automatic exposure setting.
Today is Sunday, so we have new photos posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site. This week we are showing photos of the red rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona, including some photos of the rushing Oak Creek.

That is a beautiful sunset.
He's "King of the Coast!" What magnificent colors!
Ahhhhh
Sunsets are always so breathtaking! (I'm still frustrated over my inability to comment on Julie's blog!).
This is a spectacular photo!
Certainly is golden. And I appreciate it 'cause I've reached the "golden years"!
That is pretty amazing. Nice one. Our friend Jacob is in the golden years, he says, so I guess that places me in the silver years. So sayeth Tony the barber.
One of the major reasons to go there. Even in silhouette, the man conveys a sense of satisfaction.
the aura of yellow bathing over you at sunset on the beach in tamarindo is something to experience in life. it is special when it happens
What an amazing yellow/orange light! Fantastic.
