The Camp Ground is on a high bluff but we spent most days on the beach. One day we had gone to a view point to watch the sunset and saw a coastguard helicopter flying about a quarter mile out along the coastline. We didn't think too much of it until the next day when someone called us and asked where we were during the tsunami warning. Shocked to hear of it, we did some asking around and found out that all the little towns around the park were evacuated the day before, but no one at the State Park told us about the warning. No tsunami hit the beach that day and if it had, we would have been safe on that bluff but would have been stuck there because the road out would have been washed away. But if we had been walking on the beach..........Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17469878511196407233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4486504529519277316.post-37472726805588948102010-03-12T08:15:08.809-08:002010-03-12T08:15:08.809-08:00Now you have me wondering Dave!
