Tidepool Dogs II

Do you wonder what goes through the mind of dogs?

"Hey, Fido, look over here. See what I found. Check out this fish."

"I can't come right now, Rover. I'm tracking a crab. How do they walk sideways? I can't do that, and I've got four legs just like them."

"These marine creaturs move fast. I'm getting tired and dizzy trying to chase them. I think I'll head back up to the beach. I've trained my owner to throw me sticks. They are much easier to catch."

(Tomorrow, I will post a photo of what these dogs were chasing.)

  2. magiceye,

Thank you for your compliments and encouragement.

magiceye, I notice that you operate a daily photosite for Mumbai, India: http://mumbai-eyed.blogspot.com/. My wife and I were in Mumbai a year and a half ago. What a remarkable city, country, people and culture. My wife likes to take pictures of people, and we have a wall of photos framed in our house of photos of people in India and it is the most popular and striking art in our house.

  4. yoshi,

Thank you for your comment. I hope my teaser about what the dogs were looking at will not disappoint you when I post it later today.

Your Daily Photo site for Nancy, France is beautiful: http://nancydayafterday.blogspot.com/. I had not seen it before. I have been to Rheims, Dijon and Metz, which appear to be not too far from Nancy, but I have not been to Nancy, yet.

I saw that you had a recent photo of the monument of the battle of Verdun. There was an article in the newspaper today, as there is now just one American alive who is a veteran of World War I. The sacrifices that people of his generation made are astounding. You in France undoubtedly have a much greater understanding and awareness of World War I than in other countries, such as the U.S. Americans do not study history enough. Your general during that war, Marshall Foch, I think is honored with a tomb in the Invalides in Paris that has a spiritual quality to it, when the light comes through the stained glass and casts a blue glow on the bronze tomb and pall bearers.

Thank you for visiting my website, and thank you for sharing the excellent photos on yours.

  5. I do visit and I do comment and I was here. I did look at your picture(s) and I did read what you wrote about them. I could say how great you are and how beautiful your work is but alas I would soon run out of things to say on the next blog I visited, so I just left this to prove I stopped and said a few words on Sunday.

My Rheumatoid Arthritis hurts so I am using the same message for all.
