These are the last two photos of my little series about the children's park in Tamarindo. The skateboard area is shown in the top photo. This appeals to older children than the swing sets and other playground equipment shown in yesterday's photo. The sakateboard area is important because Tamarindo does not have a lot of paved streets so that there are not a lot of other areas for skateboarders.
The second photo shows the sign for the park. Someone took the trouble to carve an original wooden sign. It is an interesting design, with two angels wearing polka dot swimming suits. I don't think I have seen that motif before.
You captured those skateboarders very well. You tell they are having a great time.
ReplyDeleteCool! The skateboard area looks promising.
ReplyDeleteThis really looks fun. The angels are a little odd.
ReplyDeleteThat sign is just fun! The well fed angels in swim suits made me laugh. Whoever made it did a nice job. I see in the skateboard picture that graffiti is also a problem there. I enjoyed the tour of the Children's Park.
ReplyDeleteAs my skate skills are long gone, the 1st thing that crossed my mind looking at the 1st pic was 'what a great pond this would be'... lol! But of course I'm glad kids can have it... dry! :-)
ReplyDeleteAs to the 2nd photo, it's absolutely cool! Never seen angels in swimming suits before, polka dot or not! :-)
A great family park
ReplyDeleteSo much to see in that first shot. You've caught him in mid-air so that he looks weightless and his shadow beneath him looks as if it's absorbing all the gravity. And I just love those folk-angels in their swimming apparel.
ReplyDeletegreat photos of the local skateboarders. kids always love the skateboard park.
