The little boat in the foreground of this photo is an example of one the small boats that is used to shuttle people from the beach out to the fishing or excursion boats that are moored in the harbor.
The area of the beach on the left side of this photo is not protected by the island and reef at the southern end of the bay, so that part of the beach is popular with surfers riding the ocean's waves.
Interesting. How deep is the bay?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful water photo! Looks like a wonderful, summer day for a boat ride - wish I were there!
ReplyDeleteSo that is why the water is calmer in this area. I didn't know that.
ReplyDeletePerfect in every way!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so inviting. We are experiencing temps. of 113 and 114 and a beach would be great.
