The dog we have been watching has made a friend. I guess it should not be a surprise that dogs seem more interested in checking out and spending time with other dogs they encounter than they do about people they encounter. The dogs on the beach in Tamarindo always seem to get along with each other.
Unfortunately, the meeting shown in today's photo was a brief encounter, for reasons that I will show tomorrow and the next day.
This week we are showing photos of Ek Balam, a unique but lesser-known Mayan site in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, on our
Viva la Voyage site.

Lovely little series this, Dave. Look forward to tomorrow's. Dogs just love the sea, don't they? Or most of them. My dog doesn't even do rain...
I like this composition with the two dogs and no sign of people. It helps me imagine what the world might have looked like before humans.
It's fun to watch dogs at play, that is until they get over-stimulated and little tiffs break out. We observe this behavior quite often at a dog park we frequent with our dog. As my husband says, "Just like little kids!"
This must have been fun to watch unfold. I can't wait to see tomorrow's episode.
Nice shots. One could spend a day taking pictures of dogs and water...
The dogs are enjoying their game in the ocean.
