For Christians around the world, Merry Christmas. For those who are not Christians but who live in countries that observe Christmas as a holiday, Happy Holidays.
Although my children are now grown, I recall the excitement of Christmas morning for them. Today there are countless families sharing the joy of Christmas, and tired parents who enjoy the enthusiasm for Christmas morning vicariously through their children, and who by this evening are grateful that they now have a holiday weekend to relax, spend time with family, and sneak in a few naps to catch up on their sleep.
I think that Austria, Germany and Switzerland know best how to celebrate Christmas, so this week we are showing scenes of Christmas in Vienna on Viva la Voyage.
Beautiful stained glass window :)

ReplyDeleteAnd merry Christmas to you and your family. We're sitting in the AA lounge at Lambert watching a gentle snow fall while we wait for our flight to La Guardia. All we need is wreaths on the planes. It's hard for us to imagine this time of year in a tropical country.
ReplyDeleteQuite a spectacular cathedral. Another reason we gotta get down their. My daughter and son and law are excited about their trip, doing all sorts of web research.
Glorious picture for today!
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas to you and yours.
Thank you for the Birthday wish too.
Yep, lovely post! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteA perfect picture for today! Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteA further reason why one should prefer glass over diamonds - as one can indeed see/feel the passion that went into the creation of this piece of art.
ReplyDeleteMay you all have a wonderful Christmas time.
Beautiful stained glass. Thank you for posting the photo.
