Iguana getting an airport meal

Even though the iguana was unsuccessful at renting a car at the airport, his trip was not futile. Perhaps because he could not rent a car to drive to a restaurant, he decided he might as well stop by for a bite to eat at the airport. The man who runs the little snack shop at the airport shares his food with several iguanas. Here he is feeding one of them.

Black iguanas move much faster than green iguanas. If you walk up to them aggressively, they will even scamper off briskly.

This week on Viva la Voyage we are showing some photos of the Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Come to the website for a visit.

I suspect this particular man might have something to do with the number of iguana visitors at the airport.

Here is Phoenix you might find workers feeding a stray cat. There they feed the stray iguanas. Different worlds, but the same sentiment.

I think the iguana population there will be increasing!

and what do you feed an iguana? I know they like red hibiscus flowers.

Oh yes, and thanks for the lesson about green and black iguanas. I knew about marine iguanas, but not about the black land iguanas.

I'll tell your visitors from my family to pay attention to iguana color. But a guy's gotta eat, even if the guy is an iguana.
