In small towns in our area of Northwestern Costa Rica, it is not unusual to see ranchers leading cattle through town on their way from their pastures outside of town to the stables or other place where they keep their cattle for the night.This photo shows some cattle walking right by the central square of the small town that I showed in my photos the last few days.

ReplyDeleteThe cattle are so pretty. Good thing you have a camera with you as you never know what might show up. I would have thought that with all that lush greenery that the cattle and horses would be quite fat.
