This guy is at the end of his run, having stayed on the wave all the way to the shore. I presume that it is more difficult to stay up on a wave as he wave gets smaller, similar to maintaining balance on a bicycle.

He's still standing. I guess that is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI did a little surfing when a youngster living in LA...I remember it being a lot of fun, but difficult; I swallowed a lot of salt water!
