Village restaurant

This is a restaurant in a village near where tourists can take the wildlife boat trips in Palo Verde National Park. This is in the same village where I showed the cattle drive through the middle of town.

The same family that operates the boat trips on the river also has this little restaurant. After the morning wildlife boat ride, they stop in their restaurant for a traditional Costa Rican lunch, which I will show tomorrow.

Like most restaurants in Costa Rica, it is open air. The kitchen is the little room in the back, and the rest rooms are the little blue building out back.

This week we are showing photos of the Villa Monastero on the shores of Lake Como, Italy on our Viva la Voyage travel photos site.

I love the open-air type restaurants in Costa Rica.

The openness is so welcoming! I like that each chair is different, but they all fit together.
