This reflects that Costa Rica has made improvements and investments in its roads in rural areas. People who own projects in areas that are waiting for the completion of paved roads are encouraged by new roads such as this, and hope that the roads will be upgraded in their areas soon.

ReplyDeleteThe road seems to be built properly. Enough asphalt and pretty neat. In my country, Indonesia, the environment is similar to Costa Rica, but they don't build nice asphalt roads.

ReplyDeleteYour comment on HDP today was pretty accurate. Short term politicians don't usually get statues, especially not statues in such a prominent spot. My guess is that he was the kingmaker kind of lawyer, a power behind the scenes.
It looks a lot like a road we were traveling in Washington.

The balloon ride you took sounded like fun and what a scenic place to do it in.
