Langosta Beach Club

Today I will begin a new series of photos to show you the Langosta Beach Club. It is located along the southern end of Tamarindo Beach, as the view across Tamarindo Bay to Cabo Velas, the point of land at the far left, is visible beyond the swimming pool.

The Langosta Beach Club is a good concept for people who do not live or are not staying in a condo or hotel right on the beach. For a daily, weekly or monthly fee, you can hang out at the Beach Club and use its facilities. I will show more of its features in the coming week.

We are showing photos of Easter Island on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site this week.

what an appealing place and not at all subject to the bad hammock karma you experienced recently.

What! No hammocks? Your story on BC's blog is quite funny; I'd love to see those photos.

This place looks like a dream, not needing a hammock!

PS. How did you know that I'd love Jack's sculpture today?

I really like the look of that pool. I love the way the trees are surrounding it and the color of the water.

It looks like really hard work being down in Costa Rica! Sign me up!

This is a beautiful spot. I sometimes wonder about big pools within spitting distance of a real beach, but then I realize that, yes, people are different and different things appeal to them. I would probably like walking on this beach and cooling off in the pool.

Thanks for your recent visits and comments, especially your observations about gospel choirs. I would have loved seeing and hearing the blue-eyed blond Swedish gospel choir!

I would want to stay there for the rest of my life.

BTW - I'm on a 3rd computer (volvo dealership) and this one also will NOT let me leave a comment on Julie's Scottdale CDP blog......weird! Tell her hello from me and that I view her blog and wish I could comment on it....

I had dinner there after our wedding (we eloped and we're married at Sueno del Mar). The chef was very friendly and Max the waiter was very attentive. The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable given the quality/presentation of the cuisine. Crazy thing is...16 years ago I was living in a tent about 100 yards down the beach when Tamarindo was nothing but a surfer town.

Love it , love it, love it. I have been there for two years in a row and look forward to the bar in this picture every time. The people remember us and we spend the day, I couldnt think of a better way to enjoy Tamarindo!! Hopefully we will be back soon.
