At high tide, the volcanic rocks are under the water. This stretch of beach is excellent for walking, but the area for swimming or surfing is a short walk to the south.

ReplyDeleteDogs are always ready to play. Interesting to see the lava rock exposed and I would bet that you might find lots of things trapped in the rocks after high tide.
ReplyDeleteThese days they rent out cars and bikes by the hour. I wish someone rented out dogs by the hour. I miss my old English Springer Spaniel, Toby.
