Here is another rural, pastoral scene from the countryside about 10 minutes inland from Tamarindo. I love the simplicity of the green hillside, accented with trees, and a windmill to pump water into a basin for cattle.
This week we are showing some more photos from our recent trip to Yosemite National Park on our
Viva la Voyage travel photo site.
a beautiful shot, dave. no cattle in sight but what a big bird!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture with this simple windmill.
ReplyDeleteI am so used to seeing these windmills on dry, scratchy land that it somehow looks out of place in the middle of all that green.
ReplyDeleteWindmills are so very photogenic. Is that some kind of big bird down below? Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteThat windmill could be plopped right down in the Midwest somewhere and would look right at home.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others . . . you could drop that windmill onto many other environments and it would be at home.
ReplyDeleteRe your tattoo comment, I actually don't remember any issues. I didn't work in a fashion industry in which employers cared what their employees looked like. In a power plant or a line crew, people cared only about skills . . . there are many workers with tattoos everywhere and most folks are pretty tolerant so long as the guys work hard.
The composition is great. And I love the greens in this photo.
