As we take our little walk to the beach, the first part of our stroll is down the stairs from our condo to this little corridor from the staircase to the back yard by the swimming pool and out the back gate to the beach. The pool and the beach are just beyond the palm trees at the end of the corridor in this photo.
This week on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site we are showing photos of the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile. It is a unique place, colorful, desolate, yet with pockets of plant and animal life.

I remember it well. Sometimes at night there are all kinds of wild animals roaming that hallway.
Inviting hallway and exit to the outside. I, like Sharon, can remember various critters all seemed quite friendly.
And it you are lucky enough to be renting from David, you want the last door on the left. This is a view that was always uplifting at the end of the day.
The sight at the end of the walkway is pretty lush. Enjoy your weekend.
