A rocky perch

Looking from our condo balcony a little farther down the beach revealed a person sitting on a prominent volcanic rock that is exposed at low tide.

If I were normal, I probably would have stayed on our balcony and relaxed and enjoyed the view and the ocean breeze. But I am a Daily Photo blogger, so that caused me to decide to go down to the beach and check out the scene to see if there weree any possibilities to take some photos to post.

Would you like to join me on this little walk? You are invited to come back tomorrow and the several days that follow.

This week on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site we are showing photos of the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile. It is a unique place, colorful, desolate, yet with pockets of plant and animal life.
