Eastern sky clouds catching the sunset's colors

Sometimes when watching a sunset it pays to turn your back on the sunset and look towards the sky in the opposite direction. This is the scene of clouds in the Eastern sky catching the colors of the setting sun.

With colors like this in the opposite direction of the sunset, you can be sure that the sunset is full of color, as I will show tomorrow.

This week we are showing photos of the Music Palace in Barcelona on Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

  3. Beautiful. That same thing happened to me recently. I stood watching the sunset thinking it was a tad disappointing and then turned around to leave saw the most spectacular sky. I posted that shot earlier this month.

  4. Isn't that amazing. That happens often here in Stone Creek. Sometimes the sunset may not be very exciting, but the sun's rays hit on the eastern clouds and they light up like a bishop's nose!

  5. That's something I wouldn't of thought of. Glad you did and got these interesting and very rich colors.
