I suspect that these porch chairs are home made. Costa Ricans commonly have wood furniture, and it is common to see chairs on a porch, as Ticos spend more time outside than people in the USA. Rocking chairs with leather seats and backs are also common.
This week we are showing photos of the public art and classical architecture of Chicago on our
Viva la Voyage travel photo site.
If I lived in that climate, I'd be outside a good amount of time, too. Love this series about the ranch, Dave!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying your ranch stories. (I grew up on a cattle ranch in the Sierras.)

Very nice porch furniture.
ReplyDeleteThey are very attractive but don't look too comfortable. For some reason HGTV has been showing people buying 2nd homes in Costa Rica. The prices are out of this world! Yikes! But it sure is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBetween the natural brown of the wood and that unusual shade of green, they have produced a most appealing environment for sitting and conversing.
ReplyDeleteThese are great. They would do nicely on my patio.
ReplyDeleteI can see the old folks sitting there and reminiscing "I hadna farm in Costa Rica" . . . I adore the photo-the composition, the rich colors... So well done
