I took this photo several years ago but never posted it because I thought it was not really of much interest, but after yesterday's comments about the buses, I decided to post it. Liberia is the main city in in Northwest Costa Rica. It has a population of about 45,000, and an international airport with about 50 non-stop flights to the USA each week. These buses are for workers, rather than tourists, as most tourists take van service to the airport.
Today is Sunday, so we have new photos posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site. This week we are showing a few more photos of Julie's recent trip to Nova Scotia, including a quaint country church and lobsters.

sometimes, we, the photographers, need to trust our initial instincts. if we found the scene interesting enough to photograph, odds are at least a few others will see something of interest there too.
I believe that the ride will be safe and trouble free if the driver takes that much pride in his bus. In terms of interest, it is intriguing what our fellow bloggers will enjoy; sometimes the photos that appeal to me draw few comments whereas some that I find rather commonplace will become a bit of a hit. So...if it looks good, post it!!
He has a lot of glass to clean on this bus.
He takes his job seriously.
My first response is that is a big window to clean. Sharon think alike on this one.
Well, you've explained the clean buses well.
Now have a nice week!
We noticed the same thing during our visit early this year. It doesn't happen to St. Louis municipal buses.
BTW, 2,000 pages of documents? Must be discovery or trial prep.
It is by chance that I stumbled upon this wonderful blog that depicts the beauty of a brilliant land and its people....... I have always been fascinated by Costa Rica ever since I was a child having read "Asterix in Costa Rica."
I have some wonderful imaginations of this place all of which I feel greatly substantiated by your marvelous pictures.
