This is the type of photo that might ordinarily look good in black and white, but the blue pipes caused me to keep the color.
I think I will stick to my normal photos of the beach, fauna and flora, rather than industrial scenes, which are far less common in Costa Rica.
This week we are showing a few more photos of Julie's recent trip to Nova Scotia, including a quaint country church and lobsters on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.
this is like some odd sort of musical instrument.
ReplyDeleteBrattcat and I think alike sometimes. My first reaction was a medley of vertical and horizontal bars! I really like this very different photo of yours, Dave.
ReplyDeleteI like the repeating pattern of the pipes. They are arranged so neatly. In other countries, I've seen pipe systems that look like a maze of zigs and zags. Twisting and turning like the streets of London.
ReplyDeleteI also thought it looked like a musical instrument of some kind. It is unique to see the workings of a building constructed to be pleasing to the eye.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? I like the blue color.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's good to see exactly how things work at the ground level Dave, it all looks like it's very well maintained, with you on the Board I'd expect no less!
ReplyDeleteThose pipes make for a very cool photo! well spotted, Dave.
ReplyDeleteFascinating photo...maybe these are not water pipes at all but the pipes for a pipe organ? Maybe?
ReplyDeleteNah.
Love the lines and angles and the color, blue!
I had the same thought as Lowell, looks a little like an organ.
ReplyDeleteDidn't you want to hit them with a mallet to hear how they sounded? They are almost irresistible.
