There are some houses behind the trees that line the beach, but you have to look straight inland to see them, otherwise the vegetation is think enough to block the view of them.
In the future I will show some photos of the beachfront houses. Some of them are spectacular.
This week we are showing some close up photos of plants and animals of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

ah, to walk along this beach.
This beach scene is just gorgeous!
What a lovely sight to see as I open my computer to CDP. And, how lucky you are to be a part of this scene. It is gorgeous!
You have your very own stretch of paradise there Dave, lovely shot.
Just beautiful. Looks like a picture postcard.
Much more serene looking than Tamarindo beach. I'll have to walk round there a few times next trip. Beautiful shot.
gorgeous! what a perfect place for a stroll
postcard perfect.
That would be a nice change from Florida...all we see are buildings and all the accouterments associated with a tourist culture!
This is a lovely beach scene. The bushes that line the beach give it a very different look from the beaches in New England, Florida and California that I know.
You are right, of course, about workers comp being a state matter. Richard Blumenthal has only been a U.S. Senator for two years after two decades as state AG. Maybe the issue that ticks off the protester occurred when he was AG.
Looks like high tide. We enjoyed the same walks. Don't think we'll be as happy with the crowds at the main town beach. We may just have to drive up here.
