Here is one more photo of the waves on Langosta Beach. The seas were a lot higher this day than on the day of the photo yesterday and the day before. Although this looks like rough seas, even on a day such as this it is possible to walk down the beach.
After all, a day without a walk on the beach, just would not be a good day.
This week we have photos of Angkor Wat and other temples of Siem Reap, Cambodia, on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.
Crashing waves. Like running water. Are seldom photographed properly. I try to figure out what I see when my eyes pass over water running over rocks in the stream. Is the image of water made up of segments that are individual yet seem blended together to form a smooth, glassy, exterior we see? I never imagined seeing water crashing onto the beach. Focus on droplets or the blur?
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving us a walk on the beach.
ReplyDeletevery cool. i wish i was walking on the beach in the warm water right now.
ReplyDeleteI like that sentiment about the day without a walk on the beach.
ReplyDeleteOh for a walk on the beach! I'm up with that.
ReplyDeleteThis beach scene has more energy than the other post the last several days. Like humans, the waves are changeable and have different moods.
ReplyDeletewere you kneeling when you took this?
ReplyDeleteI agree Dave, I don't think I could ever be happy not living near the coast. Wonderful image.
