Julie taking photos of a mangrove thicket

Here is another photo of Julie taking photos, with a backdrop of a thicket of mangrove roots at the mouth of the Langosta Estuary.

They give tours of the Tamarindo Estuary, on the north side of Tamarindo, which is part of the Las Baulas National Marine Park.  The Langosta Estuary is on the south side of Tamarindo.  The estuary tours take a small boat into the upper reaches of the estuary, where its fingers narrow to the width of a small stream, with dense mangrove thickets on both sides.

This week we have photos of the elegant villas and gardens of the Borromean Islands in Lake Maggiore, Italy, posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.
