I walked into the the plant nursery after seeing the sign in yesterday's photo, and the man working there welcomed me to feel free to walk around and take photos. With the lull in the new construction market, there is less demand for new plants, but the nursery had a nice selection of flowering plants and trees.
We have photos from Julie's recent raft trip through the Grand Canyon posted this week on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site. I have hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon (and back up), but have never rafted through it, which is a far superior experience.
These kind of look like poinsettias!
ReplyDeleteCosta Rica is sooooooo green and lush!
ReplyDeleteI bet they have a lot of plants that you wouldn't see growing here.
ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of bed of flowers one might like to lie down in on a hot summer day!
ReplyDeleteVery nice color for any garden.
ReplyDeletePoinsettias! And it isn't even Christmas! My wife's parents lived in L.A., so we visited some years for the holidays. It seemed VERY strange to look out the kitchen window and stare at a seven foot high poinsettia.
