Theme Day: Numbers (of surfboards)
Today's worldwide Daily Photo theme is "numbers." We don't have a lot of numbers in Tamarindo. There are no street addresses or house numbers. In small Costa Rica towns, everyone either knows where everyplace is, or they simply give directions by reference to where a place is near.
But, we do have a large number of surf boards. There are a lot of surfing shops and surfing schools in Tamarindo, and many of them have surfboards stacked up inside and/or outside the shops. For the Daily Photo theme of numbers, here are 24 surfboards stacked outside one of the surfing lesson shops.
This week we have more photos of Julie's raft trip through the Grand Canyon on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.
Here is a link to a website that shows other City Daily Photo bloggers' interpretation of the theme of "numbers."
Wow! Now isn't that a lot of numbers!! Clever take on the theme, Dave.
ReplyDeletei like the photo a lot but find it so interesting that you have no numbers there, on houses even!
ReplyDeleteVery clever way to represent the theme!
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a very cool interpretation of the theme. Well done, Dave!
ReplyDeleteNice photo for Theme Day! When I was in high school, our math teacher also owned the local surf shop. He was the coolest teacher in the school!
ReplyDeleteThis is a clever approach to numbers for Costa Rica.
ReplyDeleteThese boards look very well used, too! Can't imagine living in a place without street numbers!
ReplyDeleteI like your colorful choice for this theme day. Thanks for sharing with us all.
