Ivy growing on the wall

Vegetation in Costa Rica can be dense, but this ivy is not thick like the outfield wall at Wrigley Field.  Nevertheless, I like the pattern of this ivy growing up this colorful wall.  In fact, the color reminds me a little of the color of the sunset and sea in my photo yesterday.

This week we are showing photos of the Khmer temples of Cambodia on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

I love seeing vines growing on a wall like this.

The ROUGE wall was just begging for a photo! And BTW, she takes glass pendants and pastes the (reduced in size) maps behind the glass and hangs them on a chain or wire.

If they had painted this wall green it would have disappeared into the vegetation. I think they picked the right color.

Looks like a color-negative image of fire.

The vines do soften the wall, don't they?

No more photos from Santa Barbara are planned. I just showed today's photo because of the Connecticut connection. It was only a five day trip and I have oodles of more relevant Connecticut photos, so I don't need to use "filler" from out of town.
