Today's worldwide Daily Photo them for the first of the month is "Silhouette." This is a photo of a silhouette of Julie taking photos from the main beach in Tamarindo. There are also the silhouettes of the tops of a few of the fishing boats in the bay.
I had originally intended to post a different photo for the silhouette theme day, but in looking for that photo I came across this one. I will show the other photo tomorrow, and I am sure you can sympathize that I could not have made a photo of my wife the runner up to it.
This week we have photos of Tanzania posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site this week.

Good one. Love those yello tones !
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why the Pony Express is so well known in France. It may have to do with the Lucky Luke cartoons, which you may have heard of.
You've had so many amazing photos in Tamarindo that it must have been difficult to choose one... but the choice seems perfect!
ReplyDeleteYou are not only a good photographer but a very wise man, with a wisdom that comes from years of marriage! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot, and I'm assuming we'll see some of Julie's photos on this blog, too. Right?
This is so very cool! It creatively fulfills this theme on so many levels.
ReplyDeleteahh Dave, nice.
ReplyDeleteNice shot Dave, I like it. However, I'm now wondering how you found out about theme day. I have visited the Facebook page several times during the month and never saw a theme day mentioned. I began to think there wouldn't be one.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Nicely captured!
ReplyDeleteTruly a gorgeous shot! The one is a keeper.
ReplyDeleteI knew that was Julie before I even read your post! Lovely silhouette.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Dave. You get many extra points for this one.
ReplyDeleteYou made a wise and diplomatic decision, and one beyond artistic criticism.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo, Dave.
ReplyDeleteThose clouds look menacing. An exquisite photo, well done!
