Tide pool swimming

Some people swim in the tidepools along Playa Langosta, although I prefer to go to a nearby area where there are no rocks and the waves roll in on the sand. On a warm day, and most days are warm days, this does look like a refreshing way to cool off.

This week we have photos of Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

Whether it's the area you prefer or the tide pools, it would be inviting and enjoyable.

Tide pools can be full of interesting things. Including people!

It can be a little dangerous if there is coral, which cuts you like a paper sheet. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about! :-)

Tide pool bathing, maybe? These are fun, though, 'cause you don't have to worry about waves and undertow so much...but what if some sharks are left in the tide pool? Oh, oh!

I am not one for swimming in the rocks, either. I like the open water.

Interesting tale you told today in your comment on my blog.
