This is a photo of the yoga and dance studio that has a prominent location at the front of one of the main commercial buildings in the middle of Tamarindo. It was closed when I had other business in the building, so I snapped this photo through a windo in the door.
I don't do yoga, or dance for that matter. Julie did encourage me to try yoga one time. She promised that there would be other men there. She was wrong. I couldn't do it. I have a bad ankle from an old tennis injury, so I can's stand on one leg.
The only part of the yoga that I could do was when we were told to lie down and relax. I fell asleep. Julie was mortified. I told her that I simply did very well at relaxing.
This week we are showing photos of the Khmer jungle temples of Cambodia on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site this week.

Thanks for making me laugh out loud tonight. But I feel for Julie. :D
Haha that's funny Dave, but I bet that you're not the first to do that. I have come close myself a few times !
i'm best at the cool down, too, dave, though mr. brattcat is brilliant at yoga. thanks for your excellent recent comments.
Interesting mural, meant to inspire I'm sure. I, too, tried yoga and since I'm allergic to exercise, I failed miserably.
Very funny Dave but, I must admit, I might have fallen asleep myself.
Nice looking studio and the yoga story made me laugh!
Great studio, wonder if it was the location I saw while there. Well you did what you were supposed to do: relax.
:) Many times I find a bench throughout the city to find some time and calmness, every now and then, sleep for a few minutes as well.
Please have you all a wonderful Wednesday.
We are in agreement. I went to a yoga class once at the insistence of a friend. The only pose I could do was the one they call Corpse. I think that's what you were referring to.
BTW, the lead photo in my Tuesday post is a crop from a much larger original. The pic as a whole was terrible but I saw something else in it.
I don't do yoga, either, Dave, but I can't blame it on an old injury. In my case, it is just slothfulness. However, I have noticed that people who do yoga seem to be especially fit. I don't know which is chicken and which is egg.
