This photo shows the cowboys who were ushering the cattle through town. I don't know what the official rules are, but I am sure that as a practical matter the cattle have the right of way.
This week we are showing photos of the ancient Khmer temples of Siem Reap, Cambodia, beginning with one of my favorite photos, on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.
Drivers must be very patient over there !
ReplyDeleteThis breed of cattle always looks so thin to me.
ReplyDeleteI think that I would gladly give them "the right-of-way" if I encountered them on the road...a no brainer!
ReplyDeleteCattle go first. Probably a good rule.
ReplyDeleteFunny shot. I don't think you're going to get under 'em, over 'em or around 'em. So, it would be sit and be patient.
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Ocala DP: That is one of those bikes you would not keep in the garage. You'd keep it in your bedroom all nice and clean and shiny.
It probably cost between 2 and 4 thousand buckaroos.
With all that grass around there I would expect these animals to be quite fat.
ReplyDeleteThis picture shows how peaceful it must be in that area.
I think I'd certainly give them the right of way!
ReplyDeleteWhoopie Ti Yi Yo!
ReplyDeleteMakes me think of herds of cattle blocking country roads in rural Ireland, something I bet you've seen.
ReplyDeleteWould love to spend a long, long time with these fine men. Thank you for this escape, and if only in thoughts. Please have you all a good Sunday.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Love the front and back view Dave, that's quite a herd, definitely would have right of way.
