Green iguana

It has been awhile since I have posted an iguana photo.  This green iguana would be much better camouflaged in some green branches and leaves, rather than a thicket of branches.

Today is Sunday, so we have new photos posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.  We returned about one week ago.  It was a wonderful mix of native cultures, South Pacific scenery, a total solar eclipse, a volcano erupting at night, and colorful coral reefs.

Have not met a green iguana, but I've never met an iguana that I haven't liked!

Ah yes, you might not be able to spot him at all sitting in a leafy tree.

These green iguanas are ubiquitous in south Florida. Some of them have gotten so big they've become a nuisance 'cause they walk right down the sidewalks!

They can be nasty critters, though, with quite a bite.

His fantastic green colour does rather stick out a mile against the brown, hopefully nothing around with less than friendly intentions hey Dave.
