I love this photo of a white-faced Capuchin monkey reaching out to touch and make eye contact with my daughter-in-law. The monkeys knew that they were all out of bananas at this point, so he was strictly socializing, not begging for food.
The guide told them that they should not show their teeth to the monkeys because monkeys show their teeth as a sign of aggression. I think it was impossible for Christina not to smile at this monkey who approached and touched her on the arm. I am also sure that this monkey could see her friendly intentions.
My son got married the weekend before Christmas, and he and his lovely bride enjoyed their honeymoon in our Langosta Beach condo. My son took this photo during their wildlife river cruise in Palo Verde National Park.
Today is Sunday, so we have new photos posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site. This week we are showing some photos from Tanzania that feature some of the scenes other than wildlife.

I love this photo too!!! Great catch!!!
The expression on both of their faces is priceless. Wonderful souvenir of the honeymoon. Isn't it fun to welcome another member in the family...and, I don't mean the monkey!!
Dave, I left a message for you on my blog. Go here to see 2 pages of Nicolai Fechin's artwork:

This is a fun picture!
priceless.
What a great shot!
A cute picture. She doesn't seem afraid of that little monkey.
What joy ! May time and life treat them all kind.
I remember taking such a boat ride in the backwaters near Quepos. The guide encouraged us not to feed the monkeys but they would take the most delicate sips of water from the caps of our bottles.
What a wonderful spot for a honeymoon Dave, a tropical paradise.
I was never this close. So cool!
