The puppy perched on a beach board acted, well, like a puppy. There was only one object on the beach board, and the puppy became curious about it.
In this photo the puppy is sticking his nose into the ankle bracelet that is tethered to the beach board to prevent it from getting away from a rider when crashing in a wave.
This week we are showing photos of everyday life and the wildlife of Tanzania on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

Do you think he will do as well on a surfer as the woman did. Guess he needs a cheering section.
Looks like the puppy has been splashing about in the water, too, what with all that fur sticking up. How about we call him "surfer pup"?
Re your comment on Ocala: Arizona seems to have a plethora of "tough" sheriffs. :-(
Are you sure he doesn't think that might be a chew toy?
I'm going to take the pink collar as a sign and go with 'she' Dave. She's a little cutie yesterday and today. I really hope that she's not scared by the waves..I'm guessing if she belongs to a surfer she is probably used to it.
She is probably wondering how long it would take to chew that to shreds.
This little guy needs a towel!
