Here is the third and final installment in my little series of driftwood. Most of the driftwood that we see are big trees, such as the photos I showed yesterday and today.
It is difficult to imagine how the waves, which are typically so small by the time they reach the upper part of the beach, can carry in and out such large trees, but they appear and disappear frequently.
This week we have photos of of the Cathedral of Milan, Italy, posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.
Lovely series of driftwood images Dave, many people see driftwood as pieces of art, me too!
ReplyDeletePerhaps some of those pieces that go missing wind up in someone's home or art shop.
ReplyDeleteI think that water is more powerful than it looks.
ReplyDeleteEvery time we visit our favorite beach, the landscape has been changed by the waves.
