The puppy nuzzles the leg of a woman

The puppy seemed to have decided that if he and the woman were going to be friends, she should pay more attention to him, so he nuzzled against her legs and drew the desired attention.

    The word "nuzzle" is somewhat amusing for the situation. Guess I never associated that with a puppy under these circumstances.
