Today's world wide Daily Photo Theme is "Decay." For an interpretation of that theme suitable for a Costa Rican beach town's interpretation of that theme, I offer this photo of drift wood.
We do have a few older buildings in Tamarindo, but most of the construction is from the last 20 years so there is not a lot of decay. I prefer to show Mother Nature's cycle of decay.
This week we are showing photos of the delightful Majorelle Gardens of Marrakech, Morocco, which were owned for many years by Yves Saint-Laurent, on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

You can't beat Mother Nature for both beauty and decay. Driftwood is fashioned in so many beautiful shapes by her hand.
Beautiful interpretation of this theme! Fashinating detail.
Perfect choice Dave!
Drift wood is a good choice for today's theme.
A very good example for a tropical oceanfront town. But, come to think of it, your spectacular sunsets are a daily form of decay.
Surely a lovely piece of driftwood like that wouldn't stay for long on the beach.
I think Mother Nature did a fine job here Dave and well done you for finding it..perfect for the theme.
