Brown iguana

When I walked up to the old, abandoned cattle chute that I have showed the last two days I looked  down and next to my feet was this large, brown iguana.

I like the green iguanas better than the brown iguanas.   The green iguanas have attractive features and coloration.  The brown iguanas simply look like they are left over from the dinosaur age.

We have new photos of the architecture of Grenada, Nicaragua posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site this week.

  1. Yup, he does look like one of the dinosaur's relatives.

  2. We have green iguanas in south Florida...don't think I've ever seen a brown iguana or one that was so "friendly" to humans.

  5. You got something against animals left over from the dinosaur age? I would have thought that a lawyer who handles discrimination issues would have been a lot more sensitive to the difficulties of brown iguanas.

  6. Yes, but they're not dangerous, are they? And, fortunately, Tamarindo is not Jurassic Park.
