This is a closer view of the front of the school building that I showed yesterday. I don't speak Spanish (I know, that is a shame and I need to learn it), but I think that the artwork near the door greets the children with a message to the effect that "my rights are your rights also."
This week on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site we have photos posed of the remarkable street art of Valparaiso, Chile.
I like that color blue on the wall.
ReplyDeleteGlad you featured a school! PS. Slowly feeling better but not there yet!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very important lesson for the kids to learn.
ReplyDeleteA colorful way to display the message.
ReplyDeleteGood thought for the children to think about as they enter school.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeleteChildren in Costa Rica, at least the parts I know, seem well cared for. Another example of CR's good policies.
ReplyDeleteEspañol no es muy difícil. I don't know a lot but a little goes a long way. People appreciate you trying even if you mess up. We've had the same experience in France and Japan.
That's a good message to learn from an early age Dave!
