Today's worldwide Daily Photo theme is "Detail." For my Tamarindo interpretation of this theme, I am showing this close-up of the shells lining one of the rocks in a tide pool on Langosta Beach.
This week we are showing photos of the Wadi Rum Desert of Jordan on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site. If you saw the movie Lawrence of Arabia, you have seen this territory before.

That's a lot of shells; I wonder what the "scientific" name for that formation might be? Groupies? Hangers on?
That is quite a collection of shells all merged together.
So many shells all together... beautiful close-up, Dave!
On the portal i thought it was a net. This is a great choice for the theme today!

I like these details created by nature!
Quite an interesting display of shells. Nice choice.
All that detail would be hard on bare feet, I'd guess! Nice post for the theme!
I'll bet these shells can do a job on your feet!
Definitely not safe for bare feet!
I know what this is. Very clever for theme day, Dave!
Very cute detail, nice photo!
