Diria Statue

This is a wider view of the statue that I showed yesterday.  The grounds of the Tamarindo Diria Resort are landscaped beautifully and are accented by reproductions of pre-Columbian statuary.

This week we have underwater photos from our recent trip to the Galapagos Islands posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

I think you are fortunate to have such a "god" or whatever to welcome you home and keep away whatever evil spirits are lurking nearby. But I thought Costa Rica didn't have any evil spirits.

Fun story about your son and the hair salon!

I see he has a nice position in the spotlight.

Good to see the whole statue and it is lit so nicely by the spotlight.

Looks like a very contemplative statue.
