After shopping at La Artistica, we stopped by Zen, a home furnishing store at Solarium that carries Asian-inspired furniture and decorative items.
Zen's main store is located in San Jose, but has a branch store at Solarium outside Liberia. We were pleased to not have to go to San Jose for the type of items that it carries.
Today is Sunday, so we have new photos posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site. This week we are showing photos of Grenada, Nicaragua. It is a charming Spanish Colonial city.

I'm wondering if the items sold by this firm would provide for a "spiritual" moment when you use them.
Interesting name for a store in Costa Rica!
I think the name alone would make me want to go in and look around.
I agree with Judy, that name would be hard to resist.
Peaceful furniture!
Asian-inspired furniture in Costa Rica? That is not what I expected. But, I know your Arizona home has Asian art, so I imagine some items from this store have found their way to your places.
Barron Collier was THE man down here. He built the Tamiami Trail across the Everglades to Miami, and he bought and later developed much of the land in Naples. The county is Collier County. And, unlike some families, it appears that talent has continued into the later generations of the family.
Never noticed this place. Bit of a culture clash, though. The mindframe of zen is much too severe for the pura vida lifestyle.
