The worldwide Daily Photo theme for March 1 is People on the Street. In Tamarindo, we do not have very many streets or people on the street. We have more people on the beach and in the ocean.
So, I thought for my interpretation of the theme, I would show a photo with a lot of people enjoying the ocean at the Playa Langosta area of Tamarindo.
This week we are showing photos from our recent trip to the Galapagos Islands on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

I would be there instead of the street, nice photo.
ReplyDeleteWorks for me! I think that I, too, would prefer the beach "street" on many days!
ReplyDeleteJust off the coast of Chennai, where ships used to anchor in the days before there was a port (17th/18th centuries CE) used to be called the 'Madras Roads'. Extending that, you certainly have got a lot of streets out there! :)
ReplyDeleteNice take!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely much better place to be than any old street! Nice theme day shot Dave.
ReplyDeleteThose are some nice waves for surfing.
ReplyDeleteGotta go where the action is. I'll allow it!
ReplyDeleteWow, I don't think I ever saw this many people on the beach when I was there.
ReplyDeleteIt would not be amiss to say that your beach represent the street to happiness in many cases!
ReplyDeleteYou’ve made a great Theme Day post. I'm glad you picked this for today. Thanks for the informative text.
ReplyDeleteI wish that I was on that street right now!
ReplyDeleteI think you have the best streets I've seen!V
ReplyDeleteGreat posts!
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling that you would transform the beach into a figurative street. Nice.
ReplyDeleteGiven Costa Rica's notorious roads, this may be the best highway around. The surf looks unusually high.
ReplyDeleteLook at the people on the waves! Stunning! Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteI like your street, Dave! :-)
