People in Tamarindo name their houses usually when the houses are vacation rentals. I presume that the names help to market the houses by giving them an identity. It also makes them easier to find because Tamarindo does not have any street addresses.
Today is Sunday, so we have new photos posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site. This week we are showing photos of the marine life in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico.
I apologize that I have been so busy lately that I am not posting daily in recent weeks. I will continue to post when I have time, but not necessarily every day.

It is a simple yet somewhat grand gate that looks very nice on the property. I think there's something quite nice about naming one's home and property. Certainly makes it more personal.

This one looks very exclusive - no entry without an invitation. But then both of your condos have similar entrances.
To answer your question of a couple of days ago, there were two Cotton Belt buildings in STL, the one you mention and the railroad freight terminal where Artica was held. I'll have a post about that one sometime soon.
