During the next few days I will post a little photo series to show what else happened while he was passing the time when his master was out surfing.
This week we are showing photos of Ek Balam, a unique but lesser-known Mayan site in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, on our Viva la Voyage site.
Happy to see that he is cooling off! Correct me if I'm wrong, but some people say that the thick fur on these canines also protect them from the heat, reverse insulation I gather. We used to own a Norwegian Elhound (a great dog!), and he never seemed to suffer from the heat and humidity. Under his fur there was a layer of biscuit colored fur of a different texture than the outer coat. Despite our other very fine canines, I truly still miss that dog, even after three decades!!
ReplyDeleteSmart dog. I can't wait to see what happens next.
ReplyDeleteThat dog looks fit and fine and ready to play.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how hot it was on the beach that day. It will be fun to see what he did next.
ReplyDeleteDave, you are the master of the cliff-hanger! I love it! Looking forward to the adventures of this beautiful dog. Interesting info from Kate.
