I told you yesterday that I did not get very close to the cow when I took his picture. My wife took this photo of me taking a picture of the cow. I am glad that it is a rather boring photo because if this were an action shot, I would be in a lot of trouble. I have no desire to be involved in a Costa Rican equivalent of the running of the bulls. But if this were a bull, I would not be standing in the same pasture.
Today is Sunday, so we have new photos on our
Viva la Voyage travel photo site. This week we are showing photos of the Canadian Thanksgiving on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, from Julie's trip there last month.
She still has her eye on you!
ReplyDeleteStill laughing at this not being an action shot! :-)
ReplyDeleteShe is waiting for her close up.
ReplyDeleteShooting with your LCD viewfinder, I see. I sometimes do that, but most of the time, unless I am in an awkward location for holding the camera to my eye, I use the optical viewfinder.
ReplyDeleteI think you had enough of a head start if the cow took off after you . . .
I learned at a young age to avoid bull(s)...
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother had a really nasty old bull in the barnyard...and ev'ry time he saw me he'd charge - I was about 8. Terrified me, but I kept going back and then running for the fence! Stupid me!
Heh! Sometimes the other photographer gets the best shot.
ReplyDeleteLCD viewfinder? I was going to ask if you were using a Hasselblad.
