Interior of Coconut Restaurant

Here is a view of the interior of the Coconut Restaurant.

Coconut is owned by an elegant woman named Katarina who is originally from Norway, but she worked in the fashion industry in New York, London and other places before settling down in the restaurant business in Tamarindo.

Like Kelly, who migrated from Toronto to open a surf shop in Tamarindo, as I mentioned a few days ago,  it is curious how people end up across the world from their original home to live and work.

Tomorrow I will show you some of the excellent food served at Coconut.

This week we have photos of Jerusalem posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

  1. Looks good Dave. You're right, we have people working away happily in Perth from all over the world. I guess some people are just nomads!

  2. Maybe it's the white tablecloths but it appears to be a nice place to dine after a day at the beach!

  3. I wonder if the natives ever set foot in places like this, or if they are 100 percent tourist-supported. Probably the latter.

  4. I think I would prefer eating outside.
