Theme Day: Postcard Worthy

The worldwide Daily Photo theme for the first day of August is "Postcard Worthy." My choice was easy because Tamarindo is a beach town.

What could be more classic for a postcard than the beach with the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean, with a palm tree framing the photo and a sail boat silhouetted against the horizon?

I took this photo from the beachfront restaurant at the Tamarindo Diria Resort, where one of our two condos is located. It is a popular spot for dining while watching the sun set and the last moments of light on the beach.
