Theme Day: Favorite Photo of 2010

The worldwide Daily Photo theme for Jan. 1 is the favorite photo of the year. This is my favorite photo because it shows the intimacy of a meeting between man and monkey.

If Michelangelo had visited Costa Rica to take a wildlife or eco-tourism vacation, do you think he might have painted a scene like this in the center of a frescoed ceiling of a church? OK, I know. That was a stretch.
