There were six riders and three cowboys to escort us. We were given helmets to wear, both for the horseback ride and for our next activity.
What is the next activity? Stay tuned.
Excuse me for this shout-out, but I would like to use this occasion to wish happy birthday today to my brother. He is a clinical psychologist who has helped people his entire professional life. He and his wife (a social worker) work for the Veterans Administration in Minnesota, primarily evaluating and helping veterans who have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan. He has a delightful and talented family. Each of his two children has travelled to Costa Rica twice.

I suspect, since the horses went downhill, the next activity was rock climbing or climbing back up someway. Must be nice to be so young and have so much energy.
Ah, this looks a little more my speed. Though I'm sorry lunch passed so quickly...a shot of the table and a view of cowboys and no description of the meal...hmmm. Happy Birthday to your brother from Vermont and sincere thanks to him and his wife for the important work they're doing.
Somehow I knew that horses would be involved next!
A horseback ride through the rain forest! something I've never done...
David, a CDP blogger is missing. Please visit my page. Thank you.
Happy birthday to your brother! Wishing him many blessings on this day and always.
I haven't had a horse ride since I was a little kid. But with a place this beautiful, I think I'll be willing to get up on a horse again.
Now this is an activity that I could enjoy!! Not so sure about the next one you will show but I guess I could ride back out the way we came with the cowboys.
Hope your brother has a very happy birthday.
What a great way to see the rain forest. Happy Birthday, John!
